Title: USA - Benchrest Hall of Fame Points
Post by: rpollock on August 02, 2011, 09:10:05 AM
I have a question for the more senior of our participants  ;D, does anybody know if any Canadians have accumulated any Hall of Fame Points? Just curious, and with the NBRSA site down, I can't access the list of points winners.

Thanks Bill. I don't recognize these names. Any idea when this was, and do they still shoot?

Both in the late 70's and early 80's. Clint owned and ran the Stittsville range, his daughter still does. Gary was a shooter from up in the Ottawa area.

www.nbrsa.org is back up. Clint has 1 point and Gary has 2 points. I see a James Nagy on there as well. Does anybody know if this was Otto Nagy from the Calgary area, from years ago? Anybody recognize any other Canadians on there?

I had a quick look and I know 99% of the people on there and did not recognize anyone else. James Hagy, can't remember were from but it was a very long time ago, maybe the late 60's, early 70's and he was from the States. If I remember correctly he use to write for Precision Shooting.

Going to resurrect this thread from the dead.

In addition to Clint and Gary above, Peter Smith won a HOF point last year, and Hugh Williamson just won one. There was about a 30 year drought with no Canadians winning a HOF point. Well done, first to Peter and now to Hugh!
