Centerfire Discussions / long range and accuracy

Ladies/Gents

I'm looking at longer range shooting on a friends property in Saskatchewan and would like some long range advice,, long range and accuracy.

The rifle I will be using (for now) a CZ 527 heavy barrel with  a Vortex 4x12 in .223

what in your opinion, would be the best things increase accuracy on this rifle?

Hello all,, new old guy from Calgary Ab

retired from the military after 35 years service and enjoying semi retirement
 
Not a real Benchrest shooter, but I’m am an avid pinker and would really like to improve my long range shooting skills
 
do a little varmint shooting when I’m out in Sask so longer ranges are a must as the coyotes are very weary of humans,,,not at all like city coyotes.
 
presently living in Calgary, and own a small camp in Sask just south of Swift Current
