(1/2) > >>

ScottS:
There are a bunch of Canadians at the 2018 NBRSA Group Nationals in Holton this week- Sept. 10-15; vying for a spot on the Canadian National team at next years World Benchrest Shooting Championship in Calgary. This is one of the matches that helps select the US National Team, and with 115 competitors and it is also one of the biggest point counts available for Canadians looking to make the cut.

Site owner Rick Pollock garnered 2nd in the Sporter 5 Shot 100 yds. for a .1670 agg.
Way to go, Rick!

Congratulations also to Bill Mitchell for taking 1st in the LV 5 Shot 100 yds.

There's lots of other great scores by Canadians to be seen already, with more to come during the week.

See the attached .pdf files.(Canadians highlighted in RED)

Congrats to all those who made the long trip to Holton.  Looks like there were a few HofF points collected by a few Canadians......

Looks like we will have a good idea of who made team Canada and USA in the next few weeks.

Back home! A long drive but well worth it. Canadians had a tremendous showing. Hugh Williamson won the HV Grand and won 2 Hall of Fame points for those efforts and was second in the 3-Gun. Bill Mitchel had a great shoot winning the HV 200 and claiming a Hall of Fame point as well.

Many personal bests were set, and two possible BRSC International records will be sent to the record committee.

Sorry I didn't get a lot of pictures. Below is Dean Weger at the bench, and then Wayne Campbell and Hugh Williamson who finished 1,2 in the 3-Gun.

Now for some sleep....

Rick
