Borden Rimrock BRM?
« on: December 12, 2018, 03:06:32 PM »
Anyone here ever use a Borden Rimrock BRM action for a benchrest build? If so how do you like it?

Thanks

I have Rimrock action for both my 6mmBR and 6mmPPC builds (with JC Custom Barrels) and I like them a lot. Smooth and precise. Wish it were a short action though.

I have two Borden Rimrocks both in the BR version ( short )
One in 6PPC for short range benchrest competition, the other in 6BR for long range competition.
They are .308 bolt face and work very well with either 6PPC or .308 case heads.

How would you compare them to a BAT. also what are you using for recoil lug?

The PPC is glued and screwed, the BR uses a recoil lug forget which brand.

They compare very favourably to a BAT action.
I use an oversized recoil lug on both of them
