Shamrock 2015
« on: March 27, 2015, 05:08:55 PM »
The Shamrock runs this weekend in Dublin, GA. There are 4 intrepid Canucks who made the treck; Rob S, Dave A, Andy L and Hugh W. Many thanks to Rob S for sending the pictures.

Sounds like they are in store for a cool and switchy weekend.

Good luck to our shooters!

Lucky B@@@@@D....... LOL
I strongly believe that is the big key we are missing up here, Mentors.  Those who have been to the big game and are at the top of the game.  We lack that up here in Canada.  You have done well Hugh.  You know what stiff competition is all about and what it takes to win.  Rifle or not, you still had to steer it.

Good job....

we are the mentors up here Cal, its up to us to provide the info and support for the new shooters coming in to the sport, kind of a pay it forward kind of thing if Rick P and the local shooters out here  had not taken the time to do that for me and the other shooters interested I would not have made the jump to benchrest, I know its a  tougher deal for you out there with not much  support but hang in there an keep trying. what needs to happen is the other local guys out there need to chip in some time and support and help you.
"The I just want to shoot" mentality is the  death of us. I would like to see br  in Canada grow and surpass what it was in the heyday. Its going to be a bunch of effort on all  our parts but as Mr. Opel says , "many hands make work small"
oh yeah and "shoot a lot"
