I just got a confirmation e-mail from Russ Cree in Billings Montana on the dates.
The shoot will be held June 23/24 2012. That is the weekend before our BRSC Canadian Nationals at Rosebud.
This works out great for Cal as long as he gets his vacation at that time. I will make the loop de loop. It is a very nice facility. The only thing lacking is a shower. Otherwise, there is a full kitchen facility with running water and ample room to camp or bunk out in the main loading area. It never even fealt I was away from home the entire time.
If you are wanting to go, just send Russ an e-mail with your address and he will get you a letter of invitation to the shoot. These matches are registered shoots with the NBRSA so you MUST be a member of the NBRSA. You can get your membership easily enough by contacting Audrey Brown @ 1-307-655-7415 and paying via Credit Card. Memberships are 61.00 US.

Just been looking at the long range forecast for the weekend of the shoot and they are predicting temps in the Mid to HIGH 30's. Eeeeeeeeek
-
Just a burst of an update from the shoot. Temps were in the mid 80's by Sat afternoon and mid 90's shortly after lunch Sunday.
I have never shot anything so squirly in my life. I had my A@@ handed to me the entire weekend. Only shot 1 teen group and shot my BIGGEST group ever in competition with NO penalty. Over 3".
Anyhow Robert managed to come in 3rd and Jeff 4th. Unfortunately the turnout was small but it was a good time.
I have a new respect for ranges with intermediate berms and canyons.
For now just killing time in Billings before I make the trip up north to Calgary.
See whom ever there.
