It should get a work out going around some score targets in April.

I read this statement somewhere. "Where Friends Compete & Achieve the Ultimate in Rifle Accuracy"

BRSC gives me all the competition I can handle. It gives me somebody else"s butt to kick besides Phil and Gord and lots of other shooters to kick my butt besides Phil and Gord.

If a record happens to be shot by somebody a long the way then there is a  process to recognize it.

I second that.

For the past few seasons I have been using powdered carnuba wax from Sinclairs with no stock tape. The surfaces on my Robertson's stock were as smooth as glass when new. Now its scratched lengthwise from the carnuba wax particles. The scratches might be polished out but I'm going to cover them with stock tape.

I have both, the Sightron SII36X42BRD is on a CZ452 for Rimfire score shooting and the Weaver 36X40AO is on the Viper. Of these two particular specimens I like the Weaver better. It seems a little brighter, a little clearer and the clicks are more positive although I have never handled the Sightron Big Sky model. The SII has the price point advantage of costing about 2/3rds of the Weaver and there might still be a mail in rebate of $50 to $75 depending on which model Sightron you buy. On pages 34 and 35 of Mike Ratigan’s book Extreme Rifle Accuracy copyright 2007 he speaks fondly of the Sightron which I believe is the SII model because I don’t think the Big Sky was around in 2007. On the 6mmbr website they did a comparison of target scopes http://www.6mmbr.com/optics.html and rated the Sightron as “best buy”. Although I prefer the Weaver, if something happened to it, I would put the Sightron on and shoot. If money were no object, I  am lusting after a Leupold 45X but get the best you can afford and shoot.

I just want to compliment the Selkirk crew of Murray, Calvin, Grant, Lyle, the scoring/target crew and other volunteers for the smooth running shoot that made it easy to maintain focus and contributed to a high quality shooting experience.

Sounds like an issue of taking accurate measurements and choosing the right bushing. I could barely afford the gun and didn't have proper measuring tools until last month. Before that I had to take stuff over to Phil to be measured properly. 

Do you have an official scorer or do the shooters score their own targets?
