Hard to believe but our last shoot for 2012 at Rosebud is coming quickly. It is the BRSC Super Shoot. This is a LV/HV shoot.
This is a BRSC registered match. You will need a membership in the BRSC, we will have these available at the match, $25.
Match fees are $15 for each aggregate, which works out to $60 for the weekend.
LV100 and HV100 on Saturday, we will rotate benches at the end of Saturday, then shoot HV200 and LV200 on Sunday. First shots at 9:00, break for lunch around 12:00 - 1:00, and hope to be done at about 5:00.
There is dry camping at the range.
Competitors are welcome to show up a day or two early to camp and get some practice in. Anyone looking to do this should contact me in advance for a letter authorizing them to be on the range in advance of the match.
Map to the club is here:

Just received a text from Rick that Hugh Williamson spanked the boys at 100 LV/HV today. Not sure what spanked means..............
-
Congratulations Hugh, you've put a lot of effort and time in for your win.

2012 season is in the bag! We had a fantastic weekend, with great shooting and great weather. Congratulations to Hugh Williamson on his first 2-Gun win. Hugh really showed the way, and the rest of us clearly have our work cut out for us.
Special thanks to the volunteers; Noelette for running targets and Marty for doing the scoring.
Thanks to the Rosebud Club for making the facility available and their ongoing support of Benchrest.
Of course thanks to the Sponsors as above. The prizes were very much appreciated!

Thanks Joe, really need to give credit to Rick for all his help and coaching.hes really helping with the learning curve and keeps me focused on the right things. Every one has been very helpfully and forthcoming with info and advice , it's really been a pleasure shooting with and learning from them. Looking forward to continuing the Process . As for this weekend just got lucky and things fell into place.the gun was shooting really good on Saturday, all I had to do was pull the trigger and the shots were going where they were supposed to . Today started ok but the day got hot and conditions got tricky. I think the gun was going out of tune a little and my lack of experience was starting to show. Rick was closing fast ! ( good thing we ran out of targets) . Had a lot of fun. Now I need to practice shooting in the wind so I don't get beat up to bad in Phoenix.
