I just like to think I was LUCKY. I do not know why it took me so long to figure things out with my Mr. Smiley Face......
Right now I just wish that were a new barrel. It appears to be able to shoot and shoot through some condition. I also have not shot loads as hot as I have the last 2 matches. Does that have something to do with it?
? Who knows but that rifle treated me well at the Nationals, Rosebud at 200 as that was the only yardage I shot it, and this past weekend at the Provincials. I have never shot so well at 200 yards.
For some reason I STRUGGLE at 100 but at 200 things work.
I had groups that let me down but I did learn what NOT to do on one target.
It was tough slugging Saturday and the video does not do the actual conditions justice. Sunday with the rain delay, guys the rain delay at Rosebud was NOTHING compared to Selkirk. I have not seen it pour like this ever at a match. Even the wind Saturday was the worst I have ever experienced next to Regina. The difference with Regina it can be constant. Here it flip flopped like your wind shield wipers.
There are people though who have really helped in things working out this past year. My bullet supplier, keep it up buddy, and remember who is winning with your bullets.................LOL....... Also my buddies from Calgary who share a lot of information across the phone, texts, and e-mail. I take it all to heart and try to put it into practice. I really believe if it were not for the information we have shared I would have been doing so well.
I love this game even though I may GRIPE about it at times. Running matches, loading, cleaning, cooking, scoring, etc etc....... In reality though I feel a bit of BR burnout happening and cannot wait for a bit of a break after next weekend. The sad part is winter will be fast upon us and then I will wish I had a match.
Maybe I will find that Sugar Mama?
? Here is to hoping................... LOL
