The Stampede Shootout is complete. This was the best attended shoot we have had a Rosebud, other the World Championships. It was great to see so many out of town shooters. It definitely makes it worthwhile to host the shoots when so many people participate.

Once again Mark Dumont brought his A-Game and beat the stuffing out of us. Well done Mark, you are the Stampede Shootout 4-Gun Champion!

Thanks go out to the Rosebud Club for the use of the facility and to all the Helpers that make it happen!

Results and photos below.

Posting on behalf of Madeline:

It is that time of year again!  This year is special because the LFGA is celebrating the 100th year of serving the community so come on out to the 21st Annual Frank Leffingwell Memorial Shoot and join in the fun.  This year there should be in excess of $4,000.00 in prizes to be given away.(Dependent on the number of registrations).  Please remember it is first come, first served and there is no such thing as please count me in without the $$.  See you in August!!!!

Thanking you in advance and stay safe.

I am pleased to report that the Records Committee has confirmed another record. This time it was shot by Hugh Williamson, it was a .149" 5-Shot group at 200 yards, shot in Sporter Class at the IBS Nationals held in Fairchance, Pennsylvania on August 15, 2022. This qualifies as a Canadian International Record. Kudos to Hugh!

Here are some pretty awesome rails, enjoy!

First group shoot at Rosebud in 2023 is in the bag. Good turnout for the Heavy Iron shoot, the annual unlimited class shoot. A lot of out of town shooters joined us. A number of bag gun shooters braved the competition, in particular Mark Dumont beat the stuffing out of the rail guns in Unlimited 100 yard 10 shot matches. Kudos to Mark!

Possible records have been sent to the scoring committee:
Dean Weger with a .337" 10 shot group at 200 yards, with the current record being a .333"
And Hugh Williamson with a 5-shot 200 Yard aggregate of .1799" with the current record being a .1836"

Thanks to all that made this shoot happen, helpers, volunteers and the Rosebud Club!

See everyone at the Stampede Shoot in July.

Rick
