I would like to think it was a great weekend.  I hope we were able to put on a good show for everyone.  I think it ran as smooth as it could have.

A lot of work was put in by Grant to get the frames and backer ready.  Lawrence for weed whacking the berms.  Amber for cleaning the clubhouse and running around gathering supplies for the event and barbecue.  Tory for his contribution to the barbecue.  Curtis for supplying Tim's donuts.  Selkirk Game and Fish for the use of the club.  Without the use of the club it would never happen.

I need to thank all the competitors for taking time out of their busy schedules to make the trip.  The furthest was from Vancouver Island and the closest about 15 minutes away.

Congrats to Mike Pollen who ended up with the HWP barrel and Larry Mychalchuk who walked away with the rest built and donated by Ron McDaniel.  Congrats to all the prize winners.

We must thank all the gracious generous donors.

Thanks to Chelsaa and Carmen for scoring and running targets.

Lastly, I have to thank Amber for allowing me to drag her to Selkirk to help with the event.  You were a trooper.

Hope to see everyone at the 2024 BRSC Nationals in Rosebud.

The competitors.  Unfortunately missing was Mike Pollen.  He was swished away by a family gathering.

Well the 2023 BRSC Nationals is in the bank.  Rick will be posting full results when he makes it back home safely.

I want to say I think it turned out to be a great weekend.  The weather was great with some heat and humidity as well as cool mornings and if memory serves me right, one cool overcast day of practice.

It was great to finally meet the people who's names you see on the forum and make new acquaintances/friends.

I want to thank all those who travelled the great distances to be a part of the Nationals in Selkirk.  From as far west as Vancouver Island and as close as CooksCreek MB.

Until the full results are posted here are a few pictures to enjoy.

What  I can and will say is a Congratulations to the top 3 in the 2 Gun.

2 Gun winner is Steve Horsley from High River, AB.  Steve shot steady all weekend.  Second place went to Grant Schick Cooks Creek,MB and third to Rick Pollock Calgary AB.  Steve ended up winning ahead of Grant by 9 10 thousands.  Not fairing well myself, (cannon fodder) it was great to look in on the scorer to see the dog fight flip back and forth after targets were shot.  It was a great battle to the end for those at the top.

Congrats again Steve and it was a pleasure to have you.

Another tidbit of info, you do not need to bring a stool for the bench.  The seats are part of the bench.  You save a bit of room not needing them unless for a reloading stool.

We are just over 1 week away.  Looks like things are falling into place.

Like was mentioned earlier I should be at the range no later than 10AM Thursday.  If anyone may be there B4 then please let me know.

Any questions like I said just get ahold of me.  Look forward to seeing those I have not seen in a while.

Another update.

Re flags, you will need 1 or 2 poles that can make about close to 8' beyond the 100 yard line.  From the bench to 100, you are about 3.5' poles.  If you have Graham flags with the standard pin, I can bring extra taller flag poles for the Graham guys.

The clubhouse, we have 5 tables that we can handle 4 per table with cleaning outside.  If you have and are able to bring a smaller table for cleaning great.  If not we will make it work.  My table that I use is 4'x2'.  I load and clean comfortably.

Flag sharing.  If you have someone you are wanting to share flags with, that will help when registering.  We have guys here who have Graham flags and a few Smiley flag guys.  1 Hood flag guy.

Like I said when it gets to the very beginning of July I will confirm registrations, loading trailers and travel trailers.

The plan is I will be at the range by Thursday noon.  If anyone plans to be sooner let me know.

Practice will be Thursday afternoon and Friday.  AGM Friday, later in afternoon.  Target frames will go up, bench draw will be done and flag setting can be done.  The plan is we will have someone on site.  The main range will be  closed to the general public for Friday thru Sunday when we are done.

Any other questions or concerns, let me know via email, text, or call.
