Hi guys
Need help on this one !
I would like to know what will be a fair price for a sako vixen L461 in 6ppc.
The rifle is infired and still in the box and plastic.
I think this is a 1984 or 85 production.
Would like to buy this one but the seller seems to be pricey.
Thanks

Charles is this the single shot? If so you almost never see these for sale. I recall trying to find one for sale and struck out.
This is a total guess, but I would think 1200-1500? How much are they asking?

Single shot varminters with the target trigger are a premium.
-I've seen a guy pay $1600 for a used one
-I've bought an A1 sporter in excellent cond for $700 and another for $1000.
-I pd $1000 for a 75 ss/s 6ppc repeater in excellent cond.
-A friend bought a single shot 491 varminter 6ppc for $800 in vg cond.
-Another friend 2yrs ago bought an good cond A1 6ppc repeater varminter with target trigger and a whole bunch of stuff with it for $1000 shipped
It's worth whatever you want to pay. They don't make them anymore and if you really want it, it's only money.
Cheers

Yes, this is the single shot with the heavy barrel, externally adjustable trigger .
The guy would like to have 2300 $ for the rifle and the sako base.
I think this is a bit pricey but i have not enough knowledge with this type of rifle to have a good idea of a fair price.
However, this is the firts one i have see who still in the box infired !!
I have search everywhere on the web and not find just one who is for sale..
gyeomans i hate you now :)
Seriously you have done two hell of a deal !!
And 800$ for teh single shot in 6ppc this is a steal :)
Thanks for the info and the quick reply guys, this is appreciate !

For that money buy a used BR rifle instead!

Take Rick's advice, the guy is doing some SERIOUS BAD DRUGS. For that kind of money you can have one hell of a used FULL BLOWN 6PPC custom built.
Not worth 2300.00....

The boys are right Charles. Buy a used bench gun for less money. Unless you want the Sako for a collection, it's very overpriced as a shooter.
good luck
