Well the weekend of Aug. 10/11 could not have been nicer for the first match on the newly rebuilt firing line. The first and final match so to say. The temps for both days were in the low 20's. Saturday had scattered showers that started in the morning and carried on throughout the day. Sunday brought clear skies in the AM to partly cloudy skies by the afternoon.
The 100 yard matches had some with things figured out and a few that were puzzled. Myself as one of the puzzled ones in the AM. After a slight change, things began to turn around in the PM.
Sunday started out with basically no wind and then the typical switchy north to NE winds. We were fortunate to maybe have 2 targets where mirage was not a factor. After that. Yes Haw......the game was on. Mirage at times where you could not see any rings. In the end, those of us in attendance had the usual great time with frustrations and laughs.
Look forward to seeing everyone and more next year.

Congratulations Dwayne on your win, I forgot how much mirage can happen at the Selkirk range.
