This bullet uses the 1.150" Berger/J4 jacket and a 15 ogive die set.

1:8 is the minimum recommended twist.

Club Events / 2023 King of the Hill

The dates for the 2023 King of the Hill competition at Rosebud have been set for the final weekend in August.

Competition day is Sunday, August 27th.
As before, Saturday will be a practice day for all competitors to get their zeros for the multiple yardages on competition day.

This is a single rifle event for the entire competition.

Competition day is a cold bore event. Competitors need to be zeroed prior to the event.

Important changes in the course of fire;
The 300 yard group event has been eliminated.
In its place there will be timed/multiple yardage event on the silhouette range.

Preliminary course of fire looks as follows:
Event 1 - 300 yard score shoot
Event 2 - timed event with multiple yardages on silhouette range
Event 3 - 500 metre gong event

As well, thanks to a generous offer by one of the prize table sponsors, prize money will be greater this year.

Stinger Ballistics is pleased to report that Rick Pollock had an excellent showing in Phoenix, AZ at the 2023 Cactus Classic.

Shooting the 6mm 64g FB Killer Bee Rick placed; 

-First Place in Light Varmint 200 Yards
-Fourth Place in the Light Varmint Grand Aggregate
-Fourth Place in the 2-Gun Championship

Quoting Rick
"Attached is the last target I shot in the Cactus Classic. I shot this using the 6mm 64g Flat Base Killer Bees.
With this target I moved from 3rd place after 4 targets, to 1st Place, to win the LV 200 yard aggregate.
It was quite a windy day and the bullets really hung together in the wind. Keep them coming."

See attached pictures for results and a picture of the 0.334" group shot at 200 yards.

Stinger Ballistics is pleased to announce the first competitive win for Killer Bees! Rick Pollock placed first overall in the Heavy Iron shoot held last weekend at Rosebud Range close to Calgary. This was an Unlimited shoot held at 100 and 200 yds over 2 days with 5 and 10 shot groups at both yardages.

Using the 6mm 64g FB, Rick was the overall winner in the Heavy Iron Championship for the weekend. Congratulations to Rick!
