Well, im impressed. Thanks for the decent comments and just normal talk, without anybody trying to prove a point. This is THE FIRST shooting related forum, where it seems guys are trying to be helpful. Thanks. About my 6mm 284, will i even be allowed to shoot it at matches? Dont know the rules at all. I will be thinking of rebarrelling to a 6BR pretty soon, just wanna use this guy for a while. This is my smallest calibre, and i own a 475 A&M Magnum, and i decided not to try that at all. (Its a terrible gun but it works for hunting big stuff.) Great being part of the forum, and between my coyote hunting and gopher hunting i would love to meet you guys and shoot together. And yes, my wife LOVES to hunt and shoot. All she wants for birthday gifts are hunting trips and guns. Man life sucks!!

Well, like i siad, im new to this, and have a lot of questions. Me and my family recently moved to Canada from South Africa. I was a professional hunter and have been involved with guns my whole life, and want to get involved in BR shooting NOW! I have two guns, and i know it wont be great for the job, but want to use them to get started. I have a 6mm-284 on a 40X Action and my wife shoots a 223AI on a Shilen DGA action. We really want to start shooting as we are both serious about shooting. I currently live in Oyen alberta, and would just love to attend a mach and shoot for the fun to see what its about. Any ideas on matches or just fun shooting.
