I have hesitated to post fearing I would screw up a tribute to Dan.
Loading next to Dan at a Nationals I said that I had just shot a big one.
He later commented on this saying that's the last time I listen to you.
Wrong, Dan listened to everyone, all the time and had lots of cute comments.

Most, if not all benchrest shooters use the Wilson case trimmer.
Check out Sinclair International, or maybe contact Dan Opel at Plenty of Patches.

Barrel is a benchmark.
Current ammo is Rem. Eley Match.
I tested four lots of it.
The one I picked for a case purchase
was the most consistent in velocity and grouping.
Testing was done over a two day period .
Day two was a repeat of day one testing
except in a different order. Now that I have
a case of ammo maybe there is enough to
set up the tuner.

For what my opinion is worth ( free )
I lot test with the tuner removed.

Used a recoil lug on my Bordon Rimrock in .30 BR
But then maybe I am not overly adventurous.

OK, like it or not you are likely going to be in the neck turning business. Luck.
Phil

What method of turning do you use?
A case holder in a drill works fine.
I turn a hundred in a batch, doesn't take long.
Leave your neck turners set for each caliber,
not as much work setting up that way.
Phil
