im new and need an inexpencive front rest for starting out in this sport.  i was considering one from wholesalesports but i was thinking mabey one of u guys might have an old old rest that u might sell.

how does it shoot, accuracy, recoil, is it a fussy cartridge to load for, do u use it for competition.  thanks in advance for any and all input on this subject.

yes there would definatly be extraction problems...$200 for an aftermarket bolt is alot better than a whole new action, bases, stock plus the action is already squared.  also i need to buy a barrel vise and action wrench..

for my switch barrel i have 300 win mag and the other i am having trouble deciding, 6br or 6.5x47lapua
#1 accuracy
#2 competition @ 200 - 600 maybe 1000
#3 shooting varmints, i dont shoot alot once/year as i have to travel 6 hrs
#4 barrel life

ive never had any wrk done by hi pro before but it sounds like he does alot of wrk.  it should be done in may june, hope it is earlier though.

im building a dual purpose competitive target 300-600 and varmint rifle on the 6 norma br, thinking 1x8 too fast for good accuracy at 2-300 yrds.   any thoughts.
