Can anyone suggest a place in Canada that might stock decent front rest bags for benchrest.  Any suggestions would help.  Currently not an option of going stateside and dealers I've checked with only carry the mass market styles.

I just picked up a used varmint rifle in .20ppc and after checking the usual places (accurateshooter/6mmBr and google) I can't seem to find much loading info on the cartridge.   With the gun I got some Sierra 39gr bullets and some unknown brand 42 gr. bullets (both moly coated).  Can anyone give me any loading info on the cartridge or a place to find it.  I'm not stuck on those two bullets (or moly coasted) so any info would be appreciated.

I've used the one pass method without any problems.  As far as the Norma brass goes, I've had a local gun shop order Norma brass for me last year (it was 6PPC)and had it withing two weeks.  I know others who use Norma brass (various calibers) and seem to be able to obtain it without any real problems.  Any good gun shop or gun smith should be able to get it for you.  The big box sporting goods stores probably won't as they like to handle only things that sell large volumes.  As far as I know the simplest route to 22BR brass is to use the 6BR brass and simply neck size it.  Hope this helps.

I have read a lot of articles on the topic and from what I gather the 30BR with the Robinett style reamer is the cartridge of choice for shooting score at those distances.  Apparently with the right twist rate barrel and a competent shooter, it ranks up at the top.

I finally got my 30BR and now have run into the problem of getting bullets and loading information.  I have a 1 in 17 twist HV barrel so am looking to shoot 110 to 115 grain bullets.  The only ones I can find are either Sierra 110 gr. HPBT #2110 or the Hornady VMax 110 grain.  To those who are shooting this caliber, what bullets are you using and can you suggest anyone in Canada that would have stock (e-mail address or phone number of dealer would be appreciated).  My second concern is loading information.  What powder and starting loads can you suggest.  All help is appreciated.

Got rained out on that Thursday but tried them at another range the following week.  Could only shoot at 100 meters but was really happy with the groups I got.  I think a little more work on the loads and I'll be ready to shoot at the 300.  Thanks for the link on the targets.  I have a couple of people interested in trying it.

The 500 and 600 meter shooting is a very occasional thing and I can't justify spending money on a precision gun for use maybe twice a year.  The 30BR is a caliber that interests me and I have been looking for info on it.  I've seen some of the scores you've posted in matches and you're a better shooter than I but I'm practicing.  I can understand the problem of scarcity in match bullets for the .30 cal.  Right now I can't find a source of 68 gr. Bergers #24411 for my 6PPC so that limits my shooting.  Might have to take a ride up to Kenora and see how you "experts" shoot.  Could be a good learning experience for me.

I read an article on the accurateshooter site that explained the process using the Hornady die system.  I've never tried them but Hornady makes die sets for this type of case forming.  Apparently they will even custom make a set of dies if the customer sends in a couple of spent cases fired through the gun. I came across this system while searching for an alternate to fire forming cases in a new bench gun.
