2024 BRSC Unlimited Nationals - Rosebud June 8-9

A reminder to everyone we will be hosting the Unlimited Nationals at Rosebud on June 8-9, formerly known as the Heavy Iron Shoot. All rifles and shooters are welcome. There are no weight restrictions for the class. However, no muzzle breaks.

Course of fire is:
Unlimited 5x 5-shot groups at 100 yds on Saturday Morning
Unlimited 5x 10-Shot Groups at at 100 yds on Saturday Afternoon.
Unlimited 5x 10-shot groups at 200 yds on Sunday Morning.
Unlimited 5x 5-Shot Groups at at 200 yds on Sunday Afternoon.

There is a practice day on Friday. There is camping available, those interested in camping should let me know in advance. Also if you plan to attend please let me know so I can plan helpers accordingly.

The BRSC Unlimited Nationals is in the bag. Formerly known as the Heavy Iron shoot. 16 individuals turned out, of which 11 were shooting rail guns, and 5 were shooting bag guns. We had 3 new rail shooters in attendance. Conditions were cold and windy, surprising for June. None the less everyone had a good time. It was great to see the out of towners make the trek, when we all know how expensive travel is these days. The big winner was Hugh W, shooting one of Rob S's spare rail gun tops. Details attached.

Our next shoot is the Stampede Shootout on July 13-14, with a BR201 class on the Thursday and "Ask Hugh a Question Day" on Friday. Dinner will be  provided by the club on the Saturday after the shooting is completed.
