2025 Rosebud BRSC Stampede Shootout (4-Guns 100yds) - July 10th-13th

This shoot has become Rosebud's most popular BR shoot. I am expecting about 25 shooters. Taking place July 10-13. Don't miss it!

Thursday July 10 is a practice day and we will run BR201 starting about 3pm. It will be a classroom session. Topics include; gun handling, target strategy, wind reading.
Friday July 11 is a practice day and "Ask Hugh a Question Day" - A great time to get feedback from a future Hall of Fame Shooter.
Saturday July 12 will be Sporter 100 in the morning and LV 100 in the afternoon. There will be a club supplied Dinner/BBQ and soft drinks after the matches. All are welcome.
Sunday July 13 will be HV 100 in the morning and Unlimited 100 in the afternoon. Trophy presentation to follow the matches.

There will also be a swap meet for the duration of the shoot. Bring your items for sale and display them in the clubhouse.

There is camping available, those interested in camping should let me know in advance.

Lastly, please let me know if you plan to attend so I can plan for helpers accordingly, and let the cooks know how many will attend for the club supplied dinner/BBQ on Saturday.

Extra bonus for the Friday practice day. Fresh off his win of the Super Shoot, Rob Seemann will give a talk on setting up your front and rear bags. Robbie Unplugged will take place at 1pm on Friday. Don't miss it!

The 2025 Stampede Shootout is complete! 4 days of BR goodness! 28 shooters turned out, our highest attendance since Rosebud held the World Championships in 2019. BR201 on Thursday was very well attended as was the sandbag clinic on friday. BBQ was a hit as well with 30 people staying around to enjoy dinner after the shooting was complete.

We had a number of shooters attending their first ever group shoot, and some returning shooters who had been away from  BR. This event attracted shooters from AB, BC and Manitoba. Given the high cost of travel we were very pleased to see so many out of town shooters.

The big winner when the dust cleared was Hugh Williamson. Congratulations to Hugh! Results attached below.

I also attached a photo of our loading room for those that haven't see in it before. We can easily accomodate 20+ shooters in here.

Thanks to all the helpers, target crew, Carolyn and Katherine for the BBQ dinner! Of course thanks to Rosebud Club for hosting this BRSC event.

Next shoot at Rosebud is the AB Provincials Aug 30-31. Hope to see you there.

Although you wouldn't necessarily think so, given my shooting, I had a great time. I'll see you at the provincials in August, with rifles and self finely tuned!
This is a great facility and location. I do think the wind generator could be turned down a bit!  Bill
