WBSF - World Benchrest Shooting Federation Events / Invitation to Qualify for 2027 World Championships in Volmerange France - WBC 18

To all interested parties,
Please consider this an invitation to qualify for the 2027 World Benchrest Team. Canada can send up to 3 teams of 4 shooters on each team for a total of 12 shooters. As of now I will start collecting the names of anyone who wants to get on the qualifying roster for 2027. Cutoff will be Feb 28, 2026 to indicate your interest. If interested send me an email indicating your desire to join the qualifying process. It doesn't cost anything and there is no harm if you change your mind later about qualifying - bob99rich@gmail.com

A tremendous thanks to Rick Pollock for the work he has put into making Canada's WBC process a solid and sustainable one. All aspects of this process have been managed with such a high degree of precision it has been such a benefit to our teams over the years. It will be a truly tough act to follow. Rick has stepped down as Canada's delegate and I will be taking his place for the upcoming WBC 18!

For WBC 18, technically Luxembourg is the host country but the range facility will be in France and quite likely we will fly in and out of France.

Balsa wood wrapped in carbon fiber rifle stock for sale. Weights 1lb 12.3oz, has stock tape on it. Previously used with a BAT DS RLR action. Available for pickup in the Calgary area.

This is quite a milestone - in IT years 15 is more than a lifetime!

Rick, there is no one that has done more for the sport of benchrest in Canada that I know of than  yourself. And for the awareness of Canadian benchrest around the world. Appreciate all that you do!

Let me know when the book is published :-). It would be an honor to get a signed copy...

Most shooters are weighing to the 1/10th of a grain and some trying to the 1/100th which can be challenging as air movement over the scale becomes a big problem.
