BRSC - Benchrest Shooters Canada / Re: Founding member of BRSC passes
« Last post by Bill Leeper on April 09, 2026, 07:23:37 PM »
Sorry to hear that. A reminder that time passes for all. I don't know that there are any shooters around from the seventies. I'm happy to say though, the new shooters are just as congenial and welcoming as we were. Well, maybe not as nice as I was, but pretty nice nonetheless! Bill

The season has kicked off - the results from the Shamrock have been tallied and are in the attached files. Please contact me if you have any questions.
=======

For this last shoot in Fairchance I'm assuming there were 72 shooters in the LV Grand, let me know if the number was different...

Club Events / Results for march 22 Benchrest Score at Maska rifle club
« Last post by M Ouellet on March 31, 2026, 08:55:50 AM »
Hello.

On Sunday, March 22, 2026, the first benchrest score competition was held at the Maska Shooting Club, and here are the results.
I would like to thank the Maska Shooting Club for allowing us to use their facility and all the members and volunteers for making this day a success.
Although 16 participants had registered, the weather conditions (snow) meant that only 11 competitors showed up, which is still excellent considering the circumstances.
Three new participants joined us, hoping that they enjoyed their day and will be back for the next match

In the upcoming days the 2026 shooting season kicks into gear and the qualifying begins! The attached file shows those that have let their name stand in the qualifying for WBC 18. If I have missed something please let me know. Good luck to all competitors!

We are at about 15 signups for the Open House. We can certainly accommodate more for this event. Please spread the word, it is sure to be an interesting day and it is open to all. You don't need to be a Rosebud member to attend.

BRSC - Benchrest Shooters Canada / Re: 2026 Rosebud Match Schedule
« Last post by rpollock on March 20, 2026, 11:33:28 AM »
Please take note that starting at our June shoot, Rosebud will have loaner equipment available for out of town shooters or for shooters new to the sport trying out this discipline. This equipment includes:

Multiple sets of flags and poles (6 flags per set)
Farley front rests, rear bags, super feet and shell holders.
Drummer thrones
Spotting scopes and tripods

Hope that makes it easier for competitors to visit or fly in for a shoot.

Anybody looking to borrow this equipment should contact me at rickpollock@shaw.ca with priority going to out of town shooters.

Hi Murray,

I imagine I will get going on 68's once I get caught up on 64's. Just not sure when that will be. Just a one man band, but I am managing to push a fair number out the door.
